I’ve already mentioned MxTube’s as one of the most useful applications for iPhone 1.1.4.
Now the application is available for jailbroken iPhone 2.0 users via Cydia.
It still has the same great functions ( main is downloading youtube videos) , is super stable and it’s still free.
Some of the features of the upcoming new version of the iPhone’s firmware.
The final version has finally been released, this new version has a great new feature, it gives you the ability to save flash animations like the ones you see in YouTube or Daily Motion.
This is a surprise, since it wasn’t enabled in the beta version of Real Player! Now I understand better why CosmoPod needs you to have Real Player installed!
Download Real Player 11 here.
You can easily install an application on a jailbroken iPhone, but a few number of apps is really worth mentionning.
MxTube is simply destined to directly download and watch YouTube videos on your iPhone.
It combies stability & ease of use.
Even its icon is gorgeous!
To try it, just search “MxTube” on Installer and you’ll get it!
Flickr’s turn to get into the embedded videos market, with its new service for artists: Flickr Videos beta! Videos can be only 90 seconds in length and 150MB in size for the moment, but they will probably increase this small size of course!
Flickr, which was acquired by Yahoo in March 2005, defined the concept of photo sharing, but has been slow to extend the service into the video world. In the meantime, Google’s YouTube has become the primary destination for video sharing, capturing one out of every three of the online videos in the U.S., according to comScore Media Metrix
What is CosmoPod? A Safari perfectly integrated Cocoa Application which is able to download any embedded content like Flash, DivX, WMV and Real Media from any website!
The application is so easy to use: after downloading the video, it converts it on the flow to the iPod, iPhone or Apple TV format and then automatically adds it to your iTunes, making synchronization easier than ever with your favorite device!
My experience with CosmoPod is just after the jump!

It’s just amazing how these videos are … weird! It has nothing to do with Mac computers, but I couldn’t resist on blogging on them:
Don’t watch if you’re under 18!
A second Mac’s WTF video after the jump.
