Acquisition 2 Released!

And the licenses (serial numbers) are already shipped to those who already bought the previous version of Acquisition 2.00 (v200).
This major update is already available for download here.

First thing you notice before running Version 2 is the new icon, it has been cleaned up (probably for Leopard’s dock). Acquisition’s design has been updated, the application looks cleaner, everything looks so slick and it feats the same icons Xtorrent already has. You can of course create folders (like you already can on Xtorrent).

Spymac.com was a famous Mac users website with amazing forums. It has been updated 5 times, but after Spymac V, the website has been split in 2: Spymac Leapfrog (6th update of Spymac.com, it’s a YouTube like website with embedded content: music, videos and images) and Spymac Classic (with the forums).

Wondering how Spymac VII will look like.

Here’s the how to display your iChat Status like this one (you also see it in action here):

iChat Status

On your website insert this line of code:

1
2
<a title="aim:AIM_ACCOUNT" href="aim:goim?screenname=AIM_ACCOUNT">
<img src="http://big.oscar.aol.com/AIM_ACCOUNT?on_url=http://ONLINE_IMAGE_LINK&amp;off_url=OFFLINE_IMAGE_LINK" alt="iChat Status" /></a>

You have to replace the AIM_ACCOUNT with your AIM screename or iChat screename; example: steve@mac.com
And you have to replace ONLINE_IMAGE_LINK & OFFLINE_IMAGE_LINK with the path to your online and offline images.

iTunes 7.4.2 Update: iPhone Hackers Last Strike

Posted on 18 September 2007 in iTunes | No Comments »

I think Apple has finally swept away all the hopes of iPhones hackers with this update, but it seem it also has some great new features, according to Apple:

With iTunes 7.4, sync your favorite music and more with the new iPod nano (third generation), iPod classic, and iPod touch, plus create custom ringtones exclusively for iPhone with many of your favorite songs purchased from the iTunes Store. You can now also play purchased videos with closed captioning (when available), easily rate your favorite albums from one to five stars, and watch videos at a larger size inside the iTunes window. iTunes 7.4.2 addresses an issue with creating ringtones using iTunes Plus song purchases and includes bug fixes to improve stability and performance.
