Another update of the MOST updated version of Mac OS: “Tiger” has finally been released.
Many Apple rumors sites talked about 10.4.10 because of the delay of Leopard (due to the iPhone according to Apple when it first happened).

I just discovered yesterday an amazing application.
COVERSUTRA by SophieStication.
It’s such a sleek and sophisticated application, I really had a crush. With Coversutra you can use to control iTunes in a very stylish way from anywhere by just using keyboard shortcuts, you can also display an instant player control just by hitting F7 from anywhere:

And MORE than that (Jihed.. get ready) it scrobbles songs to Last.fm!!
You just have to configure it by entering your Last.fm login and password once:

This small and super reliable application also integrate 3 other major features: Apple Remote Support (to control your iTunes without having to enter in FrontRow mode), Jewel Case (displays a cover art of the now playing song) and Information Bezel (alerts you each time the track changes).

Le mois d’avril fut marqué par deux articles de grandes qualité dans la mesure ou ils sont tres tres utiles, les deux concernent des conseils pour l utilisation de Mac OS X (autant pour la sécurité que pour la stabilité du systeme): le premier article contient qqs conseils alors que le second une liste des choses a ne pas faire sur Mac.

Il y a également eu quelques astuces, en loccurence: comment prendre une capture d ecran lors de la lecture d un DVD, transformer son téléphone mobile en télécommande pour le Mac, et un article vers de nouveaux templates pour iWeb ainsi que la procedure a suivre pour les installer.

Il a aussi été question de quelques applications telles que Quicksilver et d’un superbe add on pour iChat.

Le site a également pris un nouveau tournant puisqu a present nous parlerons de design (grace a Maria qui s est jointe a moi): nous avons parlé de Philipe Stack, de l hotel Burj et Arab, de la Lamborghini stylée par Versace et une photo tres connue de Kurt Cobain.

As you know, in Mac OS X you need from time to time to verify and repair your permissions, or even verify your preferences.For the lazy ones (like me) there’s an automator workflow which will do that for you, it is called “maintenance”, you can download it here.
