Here’s the how to display your iChat Status like this one (you also see it in action here):

On your website insert this line of code:
1
2
| <a title="aim:AIM_ACCOUNT" href="aim:goim?screenname=AIM_ACCOUNT">
<img src="http://big.oscar.aol.com/AIM_ACCOUNT?on_url=http://ONLINE_IMAGE_LINK&off_url=OFFLINE_IMAGE_LINK" alt="iChat Status" /></a> |
You have to replace the AIM_ACCOUNT with your AIM screename or iChat screename; example: steve@mac.com
And you have to replace ONLINE_IMAGE_LINK & OFFLINE_IMAGE_LINK with the path to your online and offline images.

Some people met him on iChat, but it seems he also made appearance in forums talking about some of his movies like: here.

Yipee Kay Yay!!!

iChat 4.0, originally uploaded by jonathan.ives.
With the new iChat you’ll be able to compose SMS (I’ve read it will only work to write SMS to US numbers)…
I hope they will implement international numbers support..
If you have this message (An error occurred while attempting to join the chat) don’t panic, it’s nothing but an incompatibility with Safari 3 beta.
Two ways to fix this bug:
Solution N°1- uninstall Safari beta
OR
Solution N°2- download Chax 1.4.9 beta 1; as a reminder, Chax is a plug in for iChat that adds several “missing features” to OS X’s default chat client.
I won’t repeat what you all have seen on Steve Jobs’s Keynote and what you’ve read on Apple.com but here are some of my views on Apple new stuffs…
- iChat: I was really hoping and expecting for iChat to handle MSN and Yahoo! but it’s clear: iChat IS AIM, No MSN and/or Other IM support…

- Safari for Windows: just like iTunes for Windows helped Apple to conquer some PC users for the iPod, Safari will probably be the bridge to iPhone
- Core Animation: the Leopard OS will really be beautiful, great special effects (stacks), amazing transparency effects (menu bar) and reflection (the new dock).

These are the 3 points that I wanted to add
An Adium Xtra I advise to any iChat lover (which is obliged to use Adium..).

It replaces Adium’s emoticons with iChat’s.
iChat Complete
I wanted to remind many of you that it is possible to connect to MSN/Yahoo/ICQ via Jabber on iChat 3 (Tiger), the tutorial is here.
I also wanted to remind you that it is possible to log on to Google Talk via iChat just by creating a new jabber account and entering your Gmail infos, read the tuto here.
And I also wanted to link you to the “complete” list of Jabber clients (multiplatform).

I consider PSI as the best one for OSX (available for PC and Linux too).
NB: for those who already know PSI: it has been redesigned a few months ago (cleaner design and icons).
