[lang_en]How many icons will you need on your dock for the Microsoft Office Suite? 5.
For iLife? 6 icons.
For iWork? 3 icons!
The aim of these Dock applications launchers is to reduce clutters in your dock.
Each of them is less than 100 kb and they use 0% of your CPU active or idle.
Intuitive to use: right click on them and you’ll see the entire series Applications:

Pour iLife? 6 icĂ´nes.
Pour iWork? 3 icĂ´nes!
L’objĂ©ctif de ces applications est donc de minimiser le nombre de clutters sur votre dock.
Chacune d’entre elles pèse moins de 100 kb et ne consomme qu’un 0% de votre processeur.
D’utilisation intuitive, celles-ci affichent la liste entière des application de la suite lorsque vous double cliquez dessus:

I was waiting for this update so much 10.5.3 was buggy.
The dock used to crash every hour or less sometimes.
The update is available from your Software Update menu.
I’ve heard there are problems with the iDisk, didn’t mount it yet so I can’t confirm.[/lang_en]

Posted on April 11th, 2008 in Leopard, Mac OS X, Macintosh Tips & Help | View Comments

Tired of the default Leopard’s 3D dock background image?
To install a custom backgrounds for your dock:

  1. Just go into System/Library/CoreServices/ right-click on Dock and select “show package contents”.
  2. Once here go into Contents and then resources. Copy the image files here, but be sure to back up the original files if you want to revert back to the default leopard appearance.
  3. Once the images are in place, go into terminal and type killall dock - this will close the dock and restart it.
  4. When it comes back up your new background should be in place.

Download some backgrounds here and even more here.
