When launching Excel, Entourage, PowerPoint, Word, you have a message:
Office for mac has determined that your product key is not valid
This was probably right after you added the latest update …
Microsoft strikes again …..or I knew that Office for Mac was a ClusterF*ck
Still…I am sometimes nostalgic too…I keep on looking at it.. so, how to fix your issue:
Removing Office 2008 License Files:
- In the Finder, select /Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Office/OfficePID.plist, and then on the File menu, click Move to Trash.
- Select /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008/Microsoft Office 2008 settings.plist, and then on the File menu, click Move to Trash.
If your copy of Office 2008 was installed with an invalid product key, or if you mistakenly used the same product key to install Office 2008 on more than one computer, you must remove the invalid product key and enter a valid product key to use Office 2008.
YOU WILL BE PROMPTED to re-enter your license, as used before the uptade.
Sorry for the absence, I was very busy the previous days!
Let’s go back MacAmouring (Loving our Mac) with some rumors first of all.
As I said many times, I’m not pro rumors, but these ones are more likely than unlikely.
iTunes 8.0, iPhone Firmware version 2.1 and maybe a new iPhone Nano.
The September 9th Apple Event: “Let’s Rock” will be more based on the Apple devices (iPod and iPhone as we said) than on the Mac (Computers and OS).
More audience as a result, that’s a sure thing, a Windows user will be interested with the latest iTunes version as well as the latest iPhone firmware’s version.
It’s sad, I wanted to hear about a new iLife’09 and iWork’09, some more on the upcoming version of Leopard (Snow Leopard).
Many pictures of the iPhone Nano 4G are available on the web.
The most “possible” one is the one under (on my opinion):

You’d answer: “download and install the update”? Too easy!!!
Here are the steps I followed to make it.
Apple has given developers a preview copy of Safari 4 via the Apple Developer Connection website.
Safari 4 Developer preview is available for Mac OS X Leopard, Tiger and Microsoft Windows.
I downloaded this “small” package of 26.8 MB and it’s the same application of course, same shape.
This preview is also available for Tiger and Windows.

Safari 4 adds the ability to Save a webpage as an application. Also spotted in the Safari preferences is the ability to specify whether new tabs or windows open with; home page, same page, empty page or bookmarks.
Here’s a screenshot of Safari 4:
PS: the small iPod button is an application, CosmoPod.

This awesome icon replacement for Safari is free.
Created by Jonas Resk, this superbly designed icon will give your Safari’s application in the dock a very modern look!
This icon is compatible for Mac & PC.
You can download it by clicking here.
You’ll find right inside the archive a set of this icon in 5 different colors and a CandyBar ready package.
The next update for Leopard that will probably be released on WWDC, will bring 220 bugs fixes.
But it seems the core of the OS has been fixed, as a result, we should expect a great and materially innovative update!
It was officially announced that Apple’s iPhone will be available in Canada later this year, in collaboration with Roger.

We may think that it’s relativily late (the iPhone was released June 2007 in the USA and late 2007 in europe), but the Asian markets especially Japan are still waiting for an official date.

A few bug fixes to iWork and OS X compatibility fix for iWeb. As always, it’s better make updates.
