Find Duplicate files on your Mac

August 14th, 2010, Hedi Regaya | View Comments

The fastest our internet connections are, the more we download files, sometimes twice the same files.
A lot of us also often change the way they organize their files, they move them from a folder to another, make copies, backups.
All these everyday tasks lead to a single thing: MESS and DUPLICATES.
Duplicate files: lost HDD space, mess, and sometimes problems.
I just discovered a great tool: Singlemizer for Mac, easy to use, simple interface, quick and fast, it just brings order out of chaos and frees up disk space!
Just look how logical and relevant this application is (after the jump).

You may all have requested Google Wave invitations, tried that product for a few days with a few friends, and of course most of us did abandon that product: certainly the reason why Google will discontinue that project.
Remember, Wave was the brainchild of Google Australia’s Lars Rasmussen and, when it launched last year, it generated a huge amount of buzz because of the innovative way it allowed people to communicate in groups.
Google won’t meet success every time they launch a product…
Here is a great picture showing up Google’s Biggest flops (Buzz is already listed you may notice):

This was Africa’s first FIFA World Cup and it will live in the memory as much for the spirit and smiles of the host nation as for the success of a Spain team who achieved their own first when Andres Iniesta’s 116th-minute winner against the Netherlands put them into the record books as the eighth country to capture football’s most prized crown.

How to Clear the Google Search Box History in Safari

July 8th, 2010, Hedi Regaya | View Comments

I wrote this post on how to clear the Google search box to bring “clean solutions” (without having to add any third party application to your system).

Because I’m against third party applications that modify the system, and because there are easy todo “hand made” solutions.

Indeed, two easy solutions coexist to this problem.

Reset Safari
This just doesn’t erase your google data, it erases your cookies, autofills, cache, history list, usernames, and passwords.

1. Goto the Safari menu
2. Click Safari
3. Select Reset Safari

Clearing Just Your Google History

1. Goto the Safari Menu
2. Select Preferences
3. Select Autofill tab
4. Select the Edit button from the Other Forms Line
5. From the AutoFill list of sites select Google.com
6. Select Remove
7. Select Done
