It fell on the floor today as I was about to write a SMS and eating some M&M’s at the same time.
Broken glass but the phone is working properly…

MacAmour is not updated as often as it used because of many things, work comes first, but also because I’ve been very affected when I saw the last Keynote by Mr. Steve Jobs, the days after, all the blogs were talking about his health and I’ve been disgusted. You can easily notice the blogging flow decreased in that period of time.
But as always, every time I have a new trick, or useful information, it is here on MacAmour, so keep an eye on the updates…
Not blogging as often as I used too because of 2 reasons: preparing an important exam & some internet problems (I fixed with my ISP.. I hope).
Just updated WordPress to version 2.6.1, the 2.6 series is the best ever to me and as soon as I saw the update I wanted to install it on MacAmour.com.
Same great interface, same ease of use.. Excellent!
Apple impressed me again with the release of a new update for the iPhone (2.0.2) and an extra 60 free days for the MobileMe users (3 days without internet and so many new events!).

I also have been notified by Google I’m accepted to the Google Ad Manager Beta program, will take a closer look at it soon.
To relax while studying and working I’m listening to a french radio called: ChĂ©rie FM ZEN, a very good friend of mine Skander made me discover this one while we were studying together (chill out potpourri of French and English music, most of the songs are in English), if you’re ever interested in listening to it, you can add this stream from QT/iTunes or VLC: mms://vipnrj.yacast.net/cheriefm_webradio01

In QT for example, go to File>Open URL and paste the address:Â mms://vipnrj.yacast.net/cheriefm_webradio01
Hope to be able to blog more often (after the exams).
Thanks a lot to all the kind messages you’re sending me on iChat, sorry if I can’t answer, but I will soon!! I’m adding all of you to my contact list!

Happy birthday to Jerry Brace (Awaken, Embraceware), Danny Bless and to… myself.
The three of us are born on June 27th!
Both of them are friends I appreciate and respect!
These days I’m so nostalgic about PPC computers.
I’m still amazed to see how flawless my PowerBook G4 1GHz + 256 RAM is on Tiger.
One of the first tricks I wrote on MacAmour is a how to take a snapshot from a DVD (movie).
Here’s another snapshot I took for that review but I didn’t published:

When I wrote that trick, I never thought MacAmour would have such a success and longevity.
I started it when I was 25 years old, on june 27th I’ll turn 28 already!

Oil prices are raising still, soon it will reach the $150 pick.
I found the idea to create a new website based on the Ning platform called: “Tunisie Co-Voiturage”.
Co-Voiturage is a french word meaning that two drivers share a single car for a same direction.
Because on my opinion, one of the ways to reduce the consumption of energy is to share it. For example, if you and your brother are browsing the internet by night, why not being a the same room, sharing a single lamp?
The community has started on Ning, about 10 members for the moment, and hoping to have more.
You can follow that example for your countries or cities.
On my opinion this kind of concept should be used for each and every rare resource on the earth, but I won’t create a website to encourage people sharing their showers with their neighbor of course!
Here’s a link if you’re curious.[/lang_en]

[lang_en]It’s a personal post this time. A post written with a feeling of deception.
A few months ago, I created a community for students to help them share documents for the CPA exam, I’m administrating the community with a friend: Sahbi.
The community is growing in an impressive way, and I’m so proud of the 150+ members.
Within two days, Sahbi and I discovered that 3 members tried to copy the site and make community like the one I created… These followers called their websites by their names myname.ning.com, while the “original” one is “compta.ning.com”.
