Demonoid.com, one of the most popular BitTorrent trackers, was forced to go offline again because the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA) threatened their ISP.

It’s been just over 6 weeks since the CRIA allegedly shut down the Demonoid BitTorrent tracker. Details were scarce at the time, with lots of people simply claiming the site had some technical or server issues. Indeed, TorrentFreak came in for quite some criticism when we claimed the CRIA was involved, but when the site returned there were some ominous signs which seemed to support our claims.
Eventually, the Demonoid trackers reappeared, followed by the site itself but was forced to block Canadian visitors by the CRIA. However, despite blocking Canadians, it seems the CRIA hasn’t yet had enough of harassing Demonoid and its host.

Apple posted a support document over the weekend on its Web site addressing reports of interminable “blue screen” problems that caused some Mac users upgrading to Mac OS X Leopard no small degree of frustration.
Some attempts to upgrade to Leopard were stymied after the installation process was almost complete and users attempted to restart their machines. A long thread on Apple’s discussion forums outlined the problems, in which their Macs would get hung up on the initial boot screen. Spymac.com was a famous Mac users website with amazing forums. It has been updated 5 times, but after Spymac V, the website has been split in 2: Spymac Leapfrog (6th update of Spymac.com, it’s a YouTube like website with embedded content: music, videos and images) and Spymac Classic (with the forums).
Wondering how Spymac VII will look like.

According to a famous french advocate: Frederic Forster:
a mobile service provider should give instructions on how to unlock any phone after 6 months (required for the compensation of the lowered price of the phone when it’s sold from the provider).
When it comes to the “act of unlocking” itself, there are no laws that prohibits that, that is why you might see some stores on the streets which proudly claims they are unlocking mobile phones.
But… Apple (as a designer and constructor) can have rights on the structure of the phone itself, so unlocking it means changing the integrity of the phone.
As a conclusion , he said that in the USA and in Europe there is a lack of laws for the unlocking practice…
