I already made 2 reviews on Coversutra so much I love this application! I’m so excited about the latest version. What’s new compared to the previous versions? A spotlight like search engine in the menu bar (you can call with cmd+shift+space) that looks for your iTunes music real time and displays the albums covers in the search results, a new menu bar icon in the shape of a heart that reminds me of MacAmour’s favicon and a beautiful new icon.

Coversutra is Leopard compatible since version 1.1.8. Today, Sophiestication surprises us with an update of this great application by integrating the ability to pick an album cover style to display on the desktop. As a result, no need for the hack (I was using) to display a vinyl cover instead of the classical CD.

Coversutra 1.2 has 3 album covers to choose from: Vinyl, Transparent CD Case and the Classical CD Case.
As usual the application uses a few of your computer’s resources even with the Last.fm support turned on.
