Will the World end in 2012?
In exploring the areas of Mexico, Belize and Guatemala in 2006 and 2007, author L.A. Panchuk toured and documented the local Mayan folklore stories of old and recorded the great question of their Calendar and its meanings. What he discovered shocked him and created a document that he says now points to several different possibilities to the meaning of the Mayan Calendar.
The Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesy that everything will come to an end. Rather, this is a time of transition from one World Age into another. The message they give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead. Our moving through with either resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility. The same theme can be found reflected in the prophecies of many other Native American visionaries from Black Elk to Sun Bear.

According to many rumors websites, Apple is planing to launch a new aluminium version of the MacBook (which would be amazing)!
I’m not a Mac rumors lover but, to me, this one seems to be very possible.. According to these rumors, the new MacBooks will be slimer than the actual version, they will also have a keyboard similar to the newest Apple Keyboard (introduced with the new iMac) and it seems Apple will adopt a very aggressive pricing! It’s a Rumor from Think Secret but since there are some UI screenshots of what seems to be the 6th generation iPod, it’s always interesting to take a look at it.
According to Think Secret, the next generation iPod will be a 3.5-inch multi-touch display (similar dimensions as the iPhone).

Don’t know if these are true, but I know Apple Developers dislike this kind of rumors, that’s why I only gave a digest …
It won’t be the black iMac we were expecting 2 months ago. But it could be the aluminium iMac one we talked about before WWDC 07, that should be very similar to the Apple Cinema Display (which would be great).
This rumor is more and more probable judging from the new generation’s keyboard’s image we’re seeing across the internet; some rumors site claims that Apple should announce the new iMac on august 7th; and to be honest I’d LOVE to see a computer again on this page!

That’s the rumored, “super slim,” brushed aluminum keyboard said to be accompanying Apple’s new iMac computer. A forum jockey over at the Rhapsody Apple forum in Hong Kong will sell you the keyboard (s/he has more than one) for 1,200 of the local stuff or about $153.40.

Will the future iPod look like this?
An Apple patent application dated Thursday has sparked speculation among bloggers that the computer maker may be planning an iPhone light that would focus only on voice communications and music.
Filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the patent application covers the use of a scroll wheel, similar to what’s used on the Apple iPod, as the control mechanism for the device.
