Back: Apple’s September 9th’s Event, iPhone Nano 4G & Chrome

Posted on September 6th, 2008 in Rumors, iPhone & iPhone 3G, iPod & iPod Touch, iTunes | No Comments »

Sorry for the absence, I was very busy the previous days!

Let’s go back MacAmouring (Loving our Mac) with some rumors first of all.
As I said many times, I’m not pro rumors, but these ones are more likely than unlikely.
iTunes 8.0, iPhone Firmware version 2.1 and maybe a new iPhone Nano.
The September 9th Apple Event: “Let’s Rock” will be more based on the Apple devices (iPod and iPhone as we said) than on the Mac (Computers and OS).
More audience as a result, that’s a sure thing, a Windows user will be interested with the latest iTunes version as well as the latest iPhone firmware’s version.
It’s sad, I wanted to hear about a new iLife’09 and iWork’09, some more on the upcoming version of Leopard (Snow Leopard).

Many pictures of the iPhone Nano 4G are available on the web.
The most “possible” one is the one under (on my opinion):

Cake 2.0

Posted on September 2nd, 2008 in iPhone Applications, iPod & iPod Touch | No Comments »

Cake 2.0 is the name of a sublime iPhone Theme.

It works with the app called WinterBoard (only available for jail-broken iPhone under Cydia).

It has a huge number of icons ( which means most of the popular iPhone apps have a custom icon) and a very unique style.

Wordpress for the iPhone

Posted on July 23rd, 2008 in Web & Web 2.0, Wordpress, iPhone & iPhone 3G, iPod & iPod Touch | No Comments »

I was impatient for the release of this (free) iPhone application; I was wondering when Wordpress would react against its competitor TypePad (who released its application a long time ago).

Wordpress for iPhone is intuitive like almost all the iPhone applications; it supports self-hosted blogs and blogs hosted at Wordpress; it also enables you to manage more than a blog.
Adding a blog doesn’t require a high level of expertise, all the applications asks for is the URL of the blog, the username and the password, a child can do it.
Now, losing your iPhone is more dangerous than it ever has been… Too many sensitive data stored there!

Download Wordpress for iPhone.

Electronic Arts (EA) Future Games for the iPhone/iTouch

Posted on July 15th, 2008 in Games, iPhone & iPhone 3G, iPod & iPod Touch | No Comments »

Monopoly, Tiger Woods 09, and Need for Speed!! These are some of the games EA will release for the iPhone/iPod Touch through the App Store.
The three games we already saw on the iPhone from EA are Scrabble, Tetris and Sudoku.
EA will add Wi-Fi support for multi-player gaming for Scrabble (plus accelerometer action that shakes up the words on your tray) and Tetris.
And of course, they also announced during a press conference at the annual E3 trade show the upcoming organism creation game: Spore Origins!
They’ll probably be available at the app store in a few weeks!

iTunes 7.7 comes with the App Store and Software version 2.0

Posted on July 10th, 2008 in 3rd Party Software, iPhone & iPhone 3G, iPod & iPod Touch, iTunes | No Comments »

Here it is, finally.

The latest version of iTunes 7.7 brings the App Store.
Most of the applications are free; and that is an amazing thing for iPhone owners we are!
I’m so happy to see almost all the applications I use daily on my Mac available now for the iPhone like NetNewsWire, Twitterrific, or AIM!

The rumors were right, iTunes 7.7 came with a free utility that enables you to remotely control iTunes from your iPod Touch or iPhone.
No applications to customize the look (icons etc..) of the iPhone yet, but it would be amazing to have a CandyBar for the iPhone!

You can download iTunes 7.7 from here.

Remotely control iTunes (7.7) from your iPhone/iPod Touch

iSofa, wifiTunes, Signal ($30) etc… will be swept way when iTunes 7.7 will be released.
The beta version Apple is seeding to developer comes with a bundled application that will allow you to that.
It should be released maybe today or tomorrow (because the iPhone 3G will be shipped on june 29th) or in two weeks maximum (MobileMe release date july 11th).

Beyond the new remote functionality, iTunes 7.7 is also known to add an Applications tab to let users specify loading only certain software on the phone, and will be necessary for both iPhone 3G and the MobileMe sync service.

Madonna is an iPod user

If I have something in common with Madonna it must be that hand full of devices, while I always do have an iPhone and an iPod, she’s holding a Blackberry (and something else that is maybe a Motorola) and a white iPod.
I feel so.. close to her :p
