It won’t be the black iMac we were expecting 2 months ago. But it could be the aluminium iMac one we talked about before WWDC 07, that should be very similar to the Apple Cinema Display (which would be great).
This rumor is more and more probable judging from the new generation’s keyboard’s image we’re seeing across the internet; some rumors site claims that Apple should announce the new iMac on august 7th; and to be honest I’d LOVE to see a computer again on this page!
An iPhone will cost you more than 2 thousands dollars, here’s how it has been calculated on Mint.com:
$599 iPhone x 8% sales tax ($47.92) = $646.92
+ $60 required cellular plan + $5 (taxes & fees) x 24 months = $1560
= Total cost: $2,206.92
Having an iPhone for 2 years will cost you the price of a 24″ iMac!!! And with the remaining $200: an iPod, additional RAM or why not a faster processor: 2.33GHz!
Aren’t we talking too much about the iPhone?
Apple has made it clear that they will exhibit their next generation operating system Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard at WWDC next month. But some “Apple Rumors” sites have one more info for us…
Apple may be planning to introduce new iMacs at this year’s WWDC.
Previous reports indicated that Apple was preparing a black iMac following the success of the black iPods. The new machines are said so be housed in a much slimmer form factor, be faster, with larger displays and be ready for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
