I’m a huge fan of this game since it was available on CPS1, Super Nintendo, Sega MegaDrive (Genesis) and CPS2. It seems the forth episode of this amazing saga will be released in 2012 (20 years after the release of the first episod of this game).
The latest Civilization has arrived and it is unlike any previous expansion of the franchise! It is packed with so much that “expansion” is a word that is too small for it.
The game has an improved AI, which means you will be enjoying the game more because it would feel more as if you are playing with real people. The game is also focuses more on the diplomatic aspect of it, rather than on war waging. One of he most exciting features is Corporations. Those act similar to the religions (there are 7 corp.) but they will require some of your empire’s resources, but in return they will give you back a different resource. For example, if you have a Great Scientist, then you can build an Aluminum Inc. It will require access to the Coal and in return it will provide you with Aluminum. Read the rest of this entry »
Bungie released the 3rd and last episode of the Halo Trilogy on Xbox 360 only.
The game truly looks beautiful, you can see it through the gallery of screenshots.
Mac users only can play Halo (first episode: Halo Combat Evolved), it has been released for Mac on 2003 but the game is beautiful too, game play is great too.
Mac Users: You can download a demo of Halo, patches and get Halo Mods.
Funny and very addictive, this is a slot machine dashboard widget created by Kevin Anderson.
One of the cool features in this game is the Web High Scores server which enables you to store immediately online your best scores and see your rating with a single click.
The game is quite old, it has been released last year by Viva Media LLC, but I’ve just discovered it (lake of time to play probably…). Anyways!
In this game you have to “solve” more than 200 challenging “physics puzzles” to put a machine to work. It’s really really funny but it’s also nicely done graphically, even if you push all the settings to their max on a G5 the game runs flawlessly (even on a 1680×1050 px resolution).
Here’s a screenshot of one of the puzzles I enjoyed solving the most:
As the fan of poker I am, I was looking for a Poker Game that calculates the chances to have the best hand and I found better! Ghost Poker is the coolest Poker Game I ever used, because it calculates the probabilities of having the best but it also has a speech recognition system (like Chess.app).
So you can dictate your cards to the game!
Available for PC too. (http://www.candywriter.com/pokerghost.html)
