Mozy = Backup + .mac.. but it’s Free!

Posted on 22 April 2008 in 3rd Party Software, Freeware | 1 Comment »

NetNewsWire: The FREE RSS reader!

Posted on 21 April 2008 in 3rd Party Software, Freeware | 3 Comments »

Now it’s clear, everybody can have NetNewsWire running on their Mac for free!!! NewsGator made this powerful RSS reader free a month ago, and it’s an amazing thing!

This “standalone” RSS reader is able to synchronize with NewsGator via an account that you have to set up on the application itself, once done, you can read/check you RSS subscriptions via the application itself (NetNewsWire), via the website (NewsGator.com) or via your mobile phone thanks to one of the many applications that NewsGator enables you to download for your mobile device.

The application’s design is superb, you can judge by this screenshot.

Will David Watanabe make NewsFire free as a reaction?

Give your iPhone its Freedom in a Single Click

Posted on 13 April 2008 in Freeware, Mods and Hacks | 1 Comment »

When i first had my iphone, i had to wait something like 2 months to get it unlocked!

The steps weren’t that hard but it took me at least 2 hours and i was really nervous.

If you’re an Apple fan and you managed to get an iPhone but it isn’t officially available in your country, you can now unlock it in one click using the famous Zibiri 3.0 available here.

The blog of the author of the application says it’s risk-free (and it was confirmed by the most popular iPhone forums).

No need to tutorial if your iPhone is brand new (in any other case just restore it using iTunes and then unlock it)!

Chax for Leopard

chax.pngIf you set up iChat (like myself) to handle many accounts, like Gmail, Jabber, AOL, .mac etc… you probably know how annoying it is to have all these windows running side by side.

The newest version of Chax brings many cool new features, including the unification of these contact lists onto a single one.
