This is an issue I’m having since I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Software (BDS) on my MacBook Pro.
It makes iTunes slower, Mac overheating and the RimAlbumArtDaemon using up to 98% of my CPU!
Since I’m not really convinced of this process, here is how I dealt to definitely stop it from killing my computer from the Terminal:

Using superuser:
sudo launchctl remove com.rim.BBDaemon
Using regular user:
launchctl remove com.rim.BBLaunchAgent
launchctl remote com.rim.RimAlbumArtDaemon
