[Update] iLike Sidebar Leopard Ready
15 November 2007, Hedi |
If you have a Facebook account you may already have heard of the iLike service (songs dedications to your friends, free mp3 downloads etc..). But you also can “scrobble” songs like you used to with Last.fm, letting people know the recent tracks you’ve heard.
It seems this service still doesn’t work with Leopard (because it used to in Tiger).
Hope there will be a fix soon (we will post it as soon as it’s available).
I just have been emailed by the iLike, Inc. and it seems the sidebar is now Leopard ready, I did take a look at my Facebook profile and it seems the info is correct, that’s why I changed the title of this post.
Would like to thank iLike, Inc. for their reactivity and for correcting the info by fixing the Leopard issue “a week ago”.

Still doesn’t work for me, just says iLike has no network connection over and over. Course, everything else on the machine has no trouble with my network connection.
To tell you the truth, I have deleted the iLike Sidebar and I won’t use it again.
I’m against any modification to Apple’s OS and/or applications.
I’m scrobbling now my music to Last.fm only via Coversutra (you can search for it in the blog).
But I can also tell you there are some networking problems in Leopard that can cause that problem.
