CosmoPod: Download Any Kind Of Embedded Content
23 September 2007, Hedi |
What is CosmoPod? A Safari perfectly integrated Cocoa Application which is able to download any embedded content like Flash, DivX, WMV and Real Media from any website!
The application is so easy to use: after downloading the video, it converts it on the flow to the iPod, iPhone or Apple TV format and then automatically adds it to your iTunes, making synchronization easier than ever with your favorite device!
My experience with CosmoPod is just after the jump!
Once installed, CosmoPod comes in the shape of a cute iPod icon next to the Safari address bar and a download manager similar to Safari’s:
It works with any website with embedded content like: YouTube, DailyMotion, Google Video; and as you can see in the image, it did even work with Spymac.com!
I’ve tried to download a video I embedded in MacAmour.com from YouTube and it worked like a charm:
- Open the page in which the video is, the iPod icon becomes active
- Click on it: the download starts
- Once the conversion process over, you can watch the video:
More features:
- Growl notification supported
- MPEG4 Technology Beautiful Encoding
- Universal Binary
- Safari Beta Compatible
- and much more…
Developed by Cocoamug Software, CosmoPod is one of those amazing super cheap (only 6€) Mac applications you’ll wonder how you were living without!
