Newsfire by David Watanabe (author of Xtorrent, Acquisition and Inquisitor (which has been updated today)) is a great (or should I say the best) RSS/news reader for OS X. Read more on Newsfire here.

In this post I’m going to give you ideas on the replacement icons available for this application on the internet.

Instructions:
To install a custom icon of Newsfire, Ctrl-Click on the application, choose “Show Package Contents” from the context menu. Go to Contents>Resources and copy the new icon NFIconB.icns file inside that folder.
Before you overwrite the old file, it’s a good idea to save it!
