A Quick and easy Tip: How to Hide The HD icon from the Desktop

As you may have noticed: one of the changes in Leopard is the hidden HD icon (that makes your desktop perfectly clean: no clutters).
Here’s how to hide the HD icon on Tiger: go to your Finder’s Preferences, go to “General” and untick “Hard Disks” from the Show Items on the Desktop submenu. Et voilà!
It’s not Leopard yet, but it’s “closer”
