Today I was listening to “Strangers in The Night” by Frank Sinatra on my (5th Generation) iPod and when I took a closer look at it I saw the “Thriller” (by Michael Jackson) artwork. After laughing out loud I started to guess what could cause that.. Maybe is it the artwork downloaded with my ITMS account which are wrong (so I played the song on iTunes, and it displayed the correct artwork), so maybe is it that new iTunes system to store artwork (iTunes 7 doesn’t store artworks on tracks anymore, but it stores them in a “stand alone folder”) and finally took a look on the internet and I found the solution.

It appears several people had that problem, some, even sent back their iPod to Apple.
But I found the solution on Apple’s Support Discussions, to fix that issue, you have to follow these 4 (easy) steps:

1. Download and install most recent updater
2. Reset Factory Defaults on iPod
3. Reload library
(4. Fix all settings back to where you want them)

If fixed the issue on my iPod.
