To share files on the Gnutella network, there are 3 soft i’d like to advice you (you only need one):
* Limewire: Here they’ve just released version 4.10, no bundled softs, no spywares/adwares and firewalled transfers.

* Acqlite: “Acqlite open source project. Acqlite can harness the power of up to Gnutella network.” Download it here.
* Acquisition: Download… link

Although I don’t know if it’s available for Mac yet, I’d like to add that Limewire will soon include Digital Rights Management software for fear of being crushed by the RIAA. Seing Limewire was GNU/GPL software, an open source project has spawned from it called Frostwire, which will never contain the DRM software. I’m all for protecting intellectual property, but what if someone wants their music freely distributed via a filesharing network? Their music will be “unlicenced” in the eyes of Limewire and filtered out of the searches.
So… Limewire will be uselessn because of iTunes Music Store…
